Paula Telander

Paula Telander is the Co-Founder/Chief Marketing Officer of Ayata Interactive Media (AIM) and Founder/CEO of TeaTime Entertainment Group, Inc. a multi-faceted boutique production company, specializing in producing quality inspirational driven motion pictures, music videos, and documentaries.  Telander and business partner James Gardiner, award-winning producer/composer, are the co-founders/owners of San Francisco bay area based PAJAMA Studios, a world-class, award-winning commercial recording studio earning 42 platinum and gold albums. 

With more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, as a producer, creative director, art director, TV host MTV Interview William Floyd (SF-49er)/Celly Cell, co-radio host w/Erika Blue Show - Women in Music OZCAT Radio KZCT 89.5FM, voice-over talent/producer PA's In-Store-Network Cost Plus World Market, mentor, and music executive, producing film/music marketing packages, press kits, photo shoots, and music videos for a variety artists, producers, record labels, and film companies. 

 

She's worked with various recording artists such as: Beyoncé (Destiny’s Child), Maxine Jones (EnVogue), India Arie, Jody Watley, Deniece Williams, Brenda Vaughn, Nikita Germaine (TRAIN), Sakai (TRAIN), Rosie Gains (Prince),  Larry Batiste, BlaqueIce, The Click, E-40, Luniz, Master P, Spice 1, Suga T, Tru, Mia X, Too $hort, Tupac Shakur, Westside Connection, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Michael Cooper, Lenny Williams, Whispers, Najee, Stanley Clarke, D’Wayne Wiggins, Yasmeena, and John Lee Hooker, Jr. just to name a few.

 

She began her career as a dancer with the Stuttgart Ballet (West Germany) and San Francisco Ballet, and dancer, choreographer, artistic director, and casting director with the Solano Civic Ballet.  Her filmography includes director of music video I Am A Man First (2018), which won a 60th Grammy Award Consideration for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video.  Choreographer for animation/short Synchronicity (2000), which won New York International Independent Film & Video Festival Grand Jury Prize - Best Animation (2001).

She also runs Touch-Tone Productions, a full service music production company specializing in original film composition, orchestration and scoring, custom sound design, new artist development and music content of various genres.  Both Paula and James run Gardiner Music Mentoring, a full-immersion mentoring curriculum designed to successfully launch professional careers for youth and adults in the music industry.
